Mexican singer-songwriter Daniel Portela began his music career at a very young age, training in dance, singing and musical composition, participating in several musicals in Mexico City and being part of different bands before starts his solo career. He has participated in pop music festivals including big names of Mexican pop such as Sentidos Opuestos, OV7, Ragazzi, Fey, Magneto, Luz Elena González, Elefante, Paty Cantú, among others.

His first single I Feel That I'm Lovin' U had a great response from public, followed by his Metamorphosis live concerts, and the single Y Te Encontré, a song also written by him with the music production of talented David Esqueda, fusing latin urban rhythms with electro-pop. His single De Qué Sirvió, a powerful pop ballad, is followed by Prisionero de Tu Piel. In 2024 Daniel Portela made a tribute show of George Michael and released the cover single Kissing a Fool, followed by the single Ya Te Olvidé of his authorship, both as part of his debut album Romance, released on late 2024.

After living in different cities like Mexico City (his hometown), Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara (Mexico), Dallas (US), Istanbul (Turkey) and Madrid (Spain), from 2024 he moved to Cologne (Germany) and soon later he released the single 11.11 I Felt In Love With You, as a tribute on the lyrics to his new city home. 2025 begins with the release of Invencible in January, and COSMIC RHYME on March 7th, as a preview of a year coming full of new music from Daniel Portela.
